Firmware update for WOP-2ac-LR5 and WOP-2ac-LR2 base stations. Firmware version – 1.8.2

2 July 2021 Eltex has released a new firmware version for WOP-2ac-LR5, WOP-2ac-LR5 SYNC and WOP-2ac-LR2, WOP-2ac-LR2 SYNC base stations. 

Added:

• Implemented support for multiple accounts with the distribution of rights into two roles
• Implemented the ability to authenticate base station administrators via RADIUS
• Implemented support for speed test (when operating in conjunction with WB-2P-LR5 or WB-2P-LR2 firmware version 2.4.4 and higher)
• Added command to switch VLAN management modes (CLI)
• Added information on the last device restart reason to the monitoring (CLI)

Improved:

• WOP-2ac-LR2 SYNC, WOP-2ac-LR5 SYNC: Increased stability in synchronization mode
• Added the display of subscriber stations firmware version in client monitoring page of the WEB interface
• Added prioritization method setting in the WEB interface

Fixed:

• WOP-2ac-LR2 SYNC, WOP-2ac-LR5 SYNC: Redesigned time slot allocation algorithm to optimize cluster operation with different number of clients on base stations
• Fixed a problem with prioritization when limiting traffic
