New network equipment

19 November 2020 In the near future it is planned to expand the model range of network equipment: models of Ethernet switches and PON devices are being prepared to be produced. Let us tell more about the novelties offered by ELTEX.

1. Access Ethernet switches
The new 1G/10G switch models include the MES2448B, MES2448E and MES2448, which are suitable for both carrier and enterprise networks. Budget models have all the necessary functionality – an excellent solution to reduce the cost of upgrading the network without loss of performance. MES2448B and MES2448E support battery usage.

2. Industrial switches
The development of MES3708P (intended to be placed inside the lighting poles) is planned to be completed. Mass production of the MES3510P is planned to start. The models are designed to be used at facilities where it is necessary to meet the requirements for resistance to various kinds of influences: temperature, mechanical, vibratory, etc.

3. PON devices
The model range of PON devices will be expanded as well. Among them are GPON station equipment LTP-16N and subscriber terminal NTU-RG-5440G-Wac.

OLT LTP-16N is intended for organization of broadband access through passive optical networks of network carriers. The model has 16 PON ports, it is possible to connect up to 128 subscriber optical terminals to each by one fiber.

NTU-RG-5440G series routers are designed to provide access to modern IPTV, OTT and high-speed Internet services. The device is available in two modifications:

• NTU-RG-5440G-Wac with dual-band 4x4 Wi-Fi and EasyMesh support;
• NTU-RG-5440G-WZ with built-in «Smart Home» system controller (in development).

The subscriber terminal allow carriers to offer their clients a wide range of services and opportunities to work in a local network.
