New monitoring tools and equipment updates: Eltex October digest

October digest
October was a productive month for Eltex: we introduced major firmware updates and a new tool designed to simplify network infrastructure administration.
New monitoring tool – Peeper
One of the key releases this month is the Peeper monitoring module. It is designed to monitor the performance of servers, containers, and Eltex software solutions. The tool allows administrators to view the entire infrastructure, detect anomalies at early stages, and prevent downtime.
Peeper integrates seamlessly with our core products – ECCM, ECSS-10 Softswitch, and SoftWLC. The system automatically collects metrics from Linux environments, Docker, and databases, displaying them on interactive Grafana-based dashboards. Built-in monitoring profiles and preconfigured alert notifications make it easy to start using the system right out of the box, with no complex setup required.
Eltex engineers paid special attention to security. Data transfer between the agent and the server is carried out via an encrypted HTTPS protocol. The client side initiates the connection, which eliminates the need to open inbound firewall ports and minimizes the risk of compromise.
The system is ready for production operation and will continue to evolve alongside the growing Eltex firmware product line.
