Eltex Academy – Start is Here, Possibilities are Everywhere

Network engineering demands a deeper understanding than a casual “I can configure it”. For companies, this is a direct risk: frequent calls to technical support and architectural mistakes that end up costing more than the equipment itself. For engineers, it is a dead end in professional development.

We are convinced that the industry must constantly move forward, which is why we created the Eltex Academy – an educational ecosystem for integrators, corporate IT departments, telecommunications operators, and anyone who wants to grow in the telecom sector.

Let's take a closer look at the Academy structure and whether its certificates are truly that valuable.

The idea of creating our own line of educational programs had been around for a long time but required thorough methodological development. In 2022, the Eltex Academy was launched as an initiative to train partners and customers on how to work with our products. It quickly became clear that the market needed something more than just “instructions”.

The Academy’s mission evolved: to form and develop a professional community of engineers capable of effectively designing, deploying, and operating modern telecommunications solutions, thereby advancing the entire industry.

Annually, the Academy provides over 100 weeks of training across various formats and groups. Its programs attract participants from all around the world. In 2025, our partners from Egypt, Vietnam, Serbia, Armenia, Tunisia, and other countries received certifications.

A distinct program, Eltex School, targets students and recent graduates. This format immerses participants in the profession, provides systematic training and opens doors to future employment, serving as the first step in an engineering career.

The Academy's portfolio includes dozens of basic and advanced courses in the following areas:

• Switching and Routing (R&S);
• Wireless Access Networks (Wi-Fi);
• IP telephony (VoIP);
• Fundamentals of network deployment.

In 2026, we are developing new course lines. We will announce their launch.

Each course is the result of systematic methodological work by a team of specialists, including the educational, methodological department, and service center engineers. Feedback from colleagues and partners is also taken into account.

Programs are developed based on technical guides and real-world scenarios encountered by network engineers. Course content is updated at least twice a year, reflecting software releases, new equipment models, and evolving architectural approaches.

The synergy of theory and practice delivers maximum results. Lectures are not just a foundation but also an integral part that is immediately reinforced through practice. This comprehensive approach allows participants to get experience with real Eltex equipment. Each group works on a dedicated stand, ensuring full immersion in the learning process.

For example, we reworked the Wi-Fi course for enterprise customers to strike a balance: we removed redundancy, kept the essentials, and added real-world cases. We provide engineers with a deep understanding of architecture and business tasks, not just a set of commands.”

Upon completion of the training, students retain access to learning materials as authorized users of the unified educational platform.

In 2026, Eltex Academy is advancing its development by establishing a transparent certification system. This is a transition from training on individual products to fostering holistic architectural thinking among participants.

Our main goal for 2026 is to build a structured and clear certification system aligned with global standards. We want the Eltex industry certification to serve as a guarantee for customers and integrators that an engineer truly possesses all the necessary competencies to work with our equipment and software. We are moving from training on “product features” to training on “solution architecture.” Whether it's a secure enterprise network, a fault-tolerant data center, or a service provider's infrastructure, our courses and exams will provide a systematic understanding of how to design and operate these complex systems in the best possible way.”

The principle of the system is simple: training followed by mandatory knowledge verification on an exam. However, specialists who are confident in their knowledge can take the exam directly, bypassing the training. Certification exams includes both a theoretical assessment and a practical task on lab stands.

Upon successful completion, the student receives a certificate. Taking multiple exams sequentially is permitted to confirm higher qualifications or expand competencies in related areas.

Eltex certification benefits employers by validating employee real competencies and reducing operational risks. For engineers, it offers a clear growth trajectory, official status, and a tool for professional development.

The Eltex Academy team entered 2026 with a clear growth vector. Dozens of new courses are in development. More than a hundred weeks of commercial training and three Eltex School cycles are planned throughout the year. All these initiatives serve the goal of building a strong professional community.
