The results of the project dedicated to infrastructure creation and digital TV broadcasting organization on the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia

Eltex Enterprise in cooperation with "ATM-Group" summarized the results of the project dedicated to infrastructure creation and digital TV broadcasting organization on the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia where Eltex was a subcontracting party.

A unified IPTV network was constructed due to the use of Eltex equipment. It provided uninterruptable content provision on the Championship locations.

The IPTV broadcasting was organized on the basis of end connection equipment NV-501 (IPTV Set-top box on Android platform) and MES2324, MES3324 switches.

While the preparation for the Championship, Eltex implemented software modernization according to technical assignment, deployed testing facility and held several load tests.

Eltex.ACS system was used in the project to manage Eltex equipment.

As a result, Eltex equipment showed the reliability and fault-tolerance on the key network nodes as well as on the secondary nodes. The equipment provided uninterruptable broadcasting on the dozens of 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia locations from Kaliningrad to Yekaterinburg.
