The firmware update for WB-15-W and WB-15-W2 wireless access points. The firmware version – 1.4.0

17 June 2021 Eltex has released a new firmware version for WB-15-W and WB-15-W2 wireless access points with LTE support.

New functionality:

• Added device quick setup
• Added new modem operation mode - PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol)
• Implemented port forwarding in PPP mode
• Implemented channel reservation in PPP mode
• Management of TTL value for outgoing packets

 Enhancemets:

• Improvements in the WEB interface for the new functionality
• Improved device configuration structure
• Improved IPSec operation
• Dividing IPSec configuration into stored and dynamic
• Access keys and IPSec parameters are not saved to a file
• Optimized RAM utilization
• Improved device monitoring

 Bug fixes:

• Fixed Load Average output
• Fixed authorization via WPA-Enterprise
• Fixed minor bugs in the WEB interface
