Serial production of MES7048

26 August 2020 ELTEX launches series production of MES7048 - switches with 100GE interfaces. Devices can be used as aggregation switches in carrier networks and as Top-of-Rack or End-of-Row switches for data centers.

MES7048 switches are intended for operation in conditions requiring high reliability. To ensure uninterrupted functioning, hot-swappable fans and power supplies are supplied. Device management is based on high-performance processors that provide fault tolerance of management and monitoring system. The non-blocking architecture guarantees lossless packet forwarding at wire speed with minimal and predictable delays for all types of traffic.



The software of the switch has a wide range of applications, including large carrier transport networks, data center switching fabrics and others. ELTEX is constantly working on extending the functionality of its devices and is ready to implement additional functions according to customers’ requirements.
