Eltex meets Rostelecom's criteria for localisation of manufactures of equipment and software

The Rostelecom Company has started work on conformity assessment of developers / manufacturers of telecommunications equipment and software with the "Rostelecomimport substitutionlocalization criteria" program with the aim of using the results of the assessment in its procurement activities.

Eltex has become one of the first manufacturers, which were assessed through the collegial committee of PJSC "Rostelecom". March 23, 2016 the Chairman of the Commission - Senior Technical Infrastructure Vice-President A.M.Zeitlinhas approved “Compliance Act with the criteria of localization of PJSC" Rostelecom”. Eltex has been praised by Type 2 (the main equipment manufacturer) and Type 3 (the software manufacturer).

"Rostelecom’s movement towards support of Russian manufacturersis very important for us. Assessment based on the localization criteria will give additional impetus to support Russian companies and will contribute for emergence of new producers. Methods of assessment, compiled by Rostelecom, takes into account the different aspects of production and development equipment. During the audit, we proposed several amendments in the next version, "- commented the director of Eltex Enterprise Alexei Chernikov.

According to audit of the Companies and approval of the results, import substitution projects office director of the of PJSC "Rostelecom" Sergei Pavlov shared his impressions on the audit: "We are delighted that we have signed documents and algorithm for estimating the manufacturing companies, which we hope will help Russian companies, manufacturers and software developers to compete with foreign manufacturers and developers in at least part of the procurement of PJSC "Rostelecom". In the future, PJSC "Rostelecom" plans to improve the existing documents by making changes on the basis of the resulting assessment of enterprises experience. "
