ELTEX launched serial production of low-cost access switches MES2408

The devices are designed for the needs of service providers, as well as small and medium-sized businesses. MES2408 Series switches connect end users to the network using Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.

In addition, the switches support virtual local area networks, multicast groups, and have an extended set of security features.

Main specifications:

• Advanced L2 functions
• 8 ports of 10/100/1000BASE-T
• 2 ports of 100BASE-FX/1000BASE-X
• Bandwidth 20 Gbps
• Multicast support (IGMP Snooping, MVR)
• Advanced security functions (L2-L4 ACL, IP Source Guard, Dynamic ARP Inspection, etc.)

Devices are available in various modifications: AC and DC switches (MES2408 AC, MES2408 DC), battery powered switches (MES2408B AC), devices with the support for PoE technology with different power budgets (MES2408P AC, MES2408P DC, MES2408PL AC), and also switches with combo ports (MES2408C AC, MES2408CP AC).
