Eltex has launched a serial production of WEP-2ac Smart access point

The new access point, WEP-2ac Smart, has been launched into a serial production. The device is designed for indoor application and operates at two frequency ranges 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz simultaneously. WEP-2ac Smart supports MIMO 2x2:2 technology. The main feature of WEP-2ac Smart is a Smart antenna which operates at 5 GHz.

The Smart antenna forms a directed beam toward a client, that  allows extending coverage area and providing a high quality of Wi-Fi even in difficult radio environments. The antenna has more than 700 patterns that switch dynamically while access point operation.

WEP-2ac Smart analyzes customer and noise source location and uses the best antenna pattern for every moment of time. WEP-2ac Smart provides data rates up to 866 Mbps at 5 GHz and 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz.

WEP-2ac Smart is a universal solution that may be used for organization of wireless networks in highly crowded areas and high traffic environments, such as offices, state institutions, conference halls, hotels, malls, business centers, etc.
