The development of new TAU-4.IP VoIP gateway, that is designed to provide modern VoIP services to corporate clients via analogue phones, was successfully completed.
TAU-4.IP provides voice and facsimile information transmission via IP network. Subscribers get access to the wide range of VAS. Facsimile transmission is realized by G.711 pass-through audio codec and T.38 protocol. Supporting all key audio codecs applied in VoIP networks (G.711, G.723, G.729) and functions of echocompensation, silence detector, comfortable noise generator, transmission and generation of DTMF signals, traffic prioritization mechanisms (QoS) provides high quality of voice information.
When connection with basic SSW is absence automatic switching to the backup SIP server is performed with control of basic SIP server operability. When connection with both of VoIP servers is lost capability of local connection between gateway’s subscribers is saved.
