Eltex finishes the development of wireless access point WEP-2ac Smart

The development of wireless access point WEP-2ac Smart is completed by Eltex engineers. The device is included in the lineup of dual band Wi-Fi access points (operating over two frequency ranges 2.4 and 5 GHz simultaneously) with support of IEEE 802.11ac standard, MIMO 2x2:2 technology, and designed for indoor application. The key feature of WEP-2ac Smart is an embedded Smart antenna operating over 5 GHz.

The Smart antenna forms a directed beam toward a client, that allows extending coverage area and providing high quality of Wi-Fi even in difficult radio environments.  The antenna has more than 700 patterns that switch dynamically while access point operation. WEP-2ac Smart analyzes customer and noise source location and uses the best antenna pattern for every moment of time.

WEP-2ac Smart provides data rates up to 866 Mbps at 5GHz and 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz.

WEP-2ac Smart is a universal solution that may be used for organization of wireless networks in highly crowded areas and high traffic environments, such as offices, state institutions, conference halls, hotels, malls, business centers, etc.
