Description
Modern telecommunication services demand on the speed and stability of the Internet connection. XGS-PON technology provides the optimal solution for users who need high performance and reliability. It allows data transmission over fiber-optic lines with symmetrical speeds of up to 10 Gbps over distances of up to 20 km between operator and subscriber terminals. The absence of active components on the line minimizes the likelihood of failures and reduces network operating costs.
The XGS-PON solution based on Eltex equipment provides access to a wide range of telecommunication services via a single optical line: high-speed Internet, IP telephony and 4K television. The Eltex solution is used both to create a new infrastructure based on the modern XGS-PON standard, and to work together with existing GPON networks.
Composition of the solution
OLT terminals
LTX-8 rev.B and LTX-16 rev.B are equipped with 8 and 16 XGS-PON ports, the bandwidth of each model is up to 300 Gbps. Each port supports connection of up to 128 subscribers via GPON or up to 256 via XGS-PON. Two SFP28 ports of 25 Gbps and two QSFP28 ports of 100 Gbps are provided for connection to the backbone network.
The LTX-8C and LTX-16C models with support for ComboPON technology are also included in the series of station equipment. Due to this technology, it is possible to provide GPON and XGS-PON services via a single optical port without additional devices.
To increase reliability, the terminals are equipped with two hot-swappable power modules and an automatic redundancy switchover.
ONT terminals
Subscribers are connected via NTX series devices:
- The NTX-1 is a basic model with one 10 Gbps XGS-PON port and two Ethernet ports of 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps.
- NTX-1F is a modification of the NTX-1 with an SFP+ port instead of 10 Gbps Ethernet port.
Advantages
- High performance of up to 10 Gbps (Duplex)
- Up to 4096 subscribers per OLT
- ONT terminals with extensive capabilities
- TriplePlay services over a single fiber optic line
- Smooth migration from GPON to XGS-PON
- Russian development, production and support
