The Eltex IP camera product line is getting a major update in 2026

26 February 2026

IP camera product line

In 2026, we are updating our line of proprietary video surveillance cameras. The changes will affect the hardware of the devices.

Last year was a breakthrough year for Eltex IP cameras. We worked hard on developing and manufacturing our first models, released a major update to our EVI video surveillance and analytics platform, and ended the fourth quarter with the announcement of our first vandal-proof camera SV-BA331-E4C.

This stage laid the foundation for further growth. In 2026, we will continue regularly updating the software for video cameras, with an average release cycle of less than a quarter. The updates will focus on optimization, interface design, video analytics development, audio and video archive management, and enhanced information security measures.

Key development areas include:

  • two-way audio communication;
  • expansion of analytical scenarios (line crossing, zone entry/exit, face detection, human detection);
  • configuration and interaction with the archive;
  • development of motorized varifocal lens control tools;
  • implementation of a set of tools for working with video streams (saving videos, screenshots, etc.);
  • interaction with new interfaces (audio input/output, alarm input/output).

"2025 was a year of building our solid foundation, both in terms of software and hardware. We gathered feedback to identify areas where the product needs improvement. In 2026, we are moving from specific improvements to systematic development of the product line: with a clear roadmap for development, regular releases, and expanded functionality."

– Alexander Osokin, Product Manager, Eltex Media Department

We will gradually implement these and other updates in 2026. For the latest information and requests for free trial, please contact Eltex Sales Department at foreign.sales@eltex-co.ru.
