Testing the high-performance MES5320-24 data center switch

We are bringing the new MES5320-24 model into mass production. The device is in demand among customers looking for core-layer solutions with high throughput and scalability. It is currently available for pilot testing, with more details provided below.

The switch is designed for deployment in data centers and enterprise infrastructures across a wide range of industries: from banking and telecommunications to industrial enterprises, government institutions, retail, and IT companies. In data centers, it can be used as a Top-of-Rack or End-of-Row solution.

The model is also suitable for deployment at the aggregation layer in enterprise networks. It supports traffic transmission of up to 25 Gbps from the access layer to aggregation and up to 100 Gbps from aggregation to the core. In the future, the device can be used together with the MES2310-48DP and MES2310-12XU access switches, currently under development, featuring 25G uplink ports. To ensure resilience and scalability, MES5320-24 supports stacking of up to 8 devices, MLAG, hot-swappable power supplies, BFD for BGP and OSPF, as well as EVPN/VXLAN technologies. The ability to store up to 262,000 MAC addresses allows the switch to forward traffic precisely rather than relying on broadcast “noise”. This significantly reduces network load and frees up bandwidth.
