New Eltex smart home products: matter devices and new video analytics capabilities

Eltex smart home

The Eltex smart home ecosystem is actively growing: the device lineup has been supplemented with several new models over the past few months. We have also already outlined our plans for 2026. The presented updates are suitable for owners of private homes and apartments, as well as for companies offering modern automation solutions to their clients.

First Matter devices

We previously discussed our plans for smart home development and announced support for the Matter protocol — a universal protocol that connects smart devices from different manufacturers. The first models based on Matter over Wi-Fi have already been released.

Smart socket

Among the new products is the SW-PLG12 smart socket, designed to control household appliances with a maximum load of up to 3 kW. The socket not only allows devices to be switched on and off remotely via an application but also measures power supply parameters such as voltage, current, power, and total energy consumption.

Smart relay

The SW-RLY11 smart relay also entered mass production. It is designed to control lighting fixtures without the need for a neutral line connection. It supports both incandescent bulbs and LED light sources. The maximum load per relay channel is 100 W for resistive loads and 800 W for LED lamps.

Motion and opening sensors

In early 2026, we will present two new smart sensors with Matter over Thread support: the ST-MCT opening sensor and the ST-PIR motion sensor. The first device will detect the opening and closing of a door or window and then send alerts about these events.

The smart motion sensor operates on a similar principle. It detects the movement of people and animals, after which it sends a signal to the user. Additionally, the device is equipped with a light sensor, allowing the automatic activation of lights when it gets dark.

Currently, the local hub SL-10 is available for connecting Matter devices, along with third-party hubs that support Matter over Wi-Fi.

Outdoor Eltex IP cameras

Two models of IP cameras for outdoor video surveillance have gone on sale: the SV-BA101-E in a bullet housing and the SV-BA114-E in a dome housing. Both cameras are designed for year-round operation in temperatures from -40 °C to +60 °C and provide detailed images regardless of the season.

Key features:

  • Color image, progressive scan CMOS sensor;
  • Focal length of 2.8 mm, viewing angle with rotation up to 360°;
  • IR illumination up to 20 m;
  • Built-in microphone and speaker;
  • PoE support: power and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable;
  • Metal housing with protection against external influences;
  • MicroSD card slot for local recording.

Both cameras integrate with the Eltex Home application for iOS and Android, allowing them to be managed and viewed. They also support smart scenarios in conjunction with other smart devices. For example, the camera can automatically start recording video when the motion sensor is triggered. The "Security" service within the application will then send a notification.

Expanding video analytics capabilities

In 2026, we will significantly expand the capabilities of intelligent video analysis for Eltex home cameras. Features will be released in phases. The following are already planned:

  1. Line crossing tracking. The user can define a line in the frame, and the camera sends a notification when it is crossed.
  2. Perimeter crossing tracking. The application will allow users to draw a perimeter of any shape (from three to six vertices) and receive notifications upon entry or exit from this zone.
  3. Directional motion detection. Cameras will be able to determine whether an object crossed the line from top to bottom or vice versa, or if it entered or exited the perimeter.
  4. Enhanced perimeter control. Settings for analyzing movement only inside or only outside the designated zone.
  5. Patrol mode. This is a new capability for motorized cameras, allowing the devices to periodically change their viewing angle along a predefined route.

Based on our IoT platform, you can create and launch your own smart home service, offering your clients modern solutions for automation and security. The Eltex ecosystem already contains everything you need: a wide range of hubs and smart devices, convenient administrator tools, a client mobile application, and a cloud platform for management.
