ESR service router lineup update: introducing a new model

We're steadily updating our ESR series of service routers, replacing previous-generation models with new ones. Following ESR-3250 and ESR-3350, the ESR-3150 router has been launched into mass production. This equipment is intended for enterprise and government networks, as well as industrial sites.

The ESR-3150 key benefit is its support for DMVPN, the highly-demanded technology for securely deploying distributed networks and connecting remote branches. The device can act as a Hub.

The router supports Active/Standby clustering for redundancy. Additionally, the NAT mechanisms are available for access to external networks, and RemoteAccess through WireGuard and IPsec allows remote clients to safely access the network.

ESR-3150 is used for deploying MPLS networks with L2VPN and L3VPN support. It also functions as a firewall supporting Application Control, IPS, and Web-filtering based on Kaspersky Lab signatures. Starting with firmware version 1.40, ESR-3150 can act as a Certification Authority (CA) for IPsec connections.

The hardware platform has 8×1G Combo ports and 4×10G SFP+ ports, Firewall throughput reaches 21.69 Gbps, IPsec VPN – 3.35 Gbps (IMIX).
