ToPGATE-WAN-E1 SFP module

ToPGATE-WAN-E1 is a module enabling transmission of traffic over E1 channel, installed in the SFP port of Eltex ESR series service router. ESR in combination with ToPGATE WAN-E1 module installed can establish a point-to-point connection with another ESR router, as well as with a number of routers from other manufacturers that support E1 interfaces.

PPP connection is established between the routers, through which traffic is transmitted. When the connection is established, the ToPGATE-WAN-E1 module can use part of DS streams (64 Kbps), combining several streams to the desired bandwidth, i.e. the transmission rate can be adjusted from 64 Kbps to 2048 Kbps. ToPGATE-WAN-E1 module supports G.703 standard and HDB3/AMI encoding.
