In the current situation, businesses need effective communication tools. TAU-8N.IP enables both the creation of an isolated VoIP network in a single office using internal switching and the interconnection of geographically remote VoIP networks via an IP-PBX. It is also possible to scale an existing network by combining several TAU-8N.IP gateways.

Performance and stability is assured due to the 4-core processor, allowing up to five local 3-way conferences. TAU-8N.IP also has a MGMT port for quick device configuration.

TAU-8N.IP supports Dual Image firmware storage technology. For example, if the device fails to start with the primary bootloader, the secondary bootloader is used. On a successful boot, a corrupted image file is restored, ensuring system redundancy.

High voice quality is ensured by the use of basic VoIP audio codecs and QoS traffic prioritization mechanisms, as well as support for echo cancellation, silence detector, comfort noise generator, DTMF reception and signal generation. Fax transmission is possible with G.711 pass-through codec and T.38 protocol.

TAU-8N.IP can be controlled and updated via the web interface, Telnet and SSH. The device supports TR-069, which facilitates setup and support of subscribers, secure automatic configuration and the VoIP gateway updates.
