Eltex smart devices are now compatible with Sber Salute virtual assistants

10 November 2022 Sber Smart Home now supports the following Eltex smart devices:

• SW-PLG01 smart socket:
  • load up to 3 kW;
  • remote control of lighting and household appliances;
  • power consumption monitoring;

• SW-RLY01 smart lighting control relay:
  • two channels;
  • load up to 800 W per channel;
  • no zero line;
  • remote lighting control.

 The relay and the socket are connected to a home router via Wi-Fi, no special hub is needed. To start controlling smart devices via the Salute virtual assistants, synchronize the Salute and Eltex Home apps. With the help of the Salute voice assistants, a user can remotely turn devices on and off, monitor their status and create different operating scenarios, for example, on a timer or on a sensor triggering. In addition, smart devices from different manufacturers supported by Sber Smart Home can be configured to work together in various custom scenarios, greatly extending the functionality of the solution.

Salute includes virtual assistants Sber, Joy and Athena. They have different voices and characters. You can choose your assistant and manage smart home functions using simple voice commands. For example, say ‘Salute, turn off the lighting in the hall and turn on the heater'. The basic lighting connected to the SW RLY01 relay will turn off, and the heater will turn on with the SW-PLG01 socket and radiate heat.

Assistants are available in the Salute app, as well as on any Sber devices with assistants, such as Salute TV platform-based smart TV set, SberBox set-top box, SberPortal smart display or SberBox Time smart speaker.

To set up the assistants, the following apps are required:
Eltex Home – for Android and iOS smartphones;
Salute – for Android and iOS* smartphones.

The integration provides users with new features and additional tools for smart home management. In the future, Eltex and Sber will expand their cooperation.
