Eltex launches mass production of NTU-52W subscriber terminal

13 February 2023 Eltex has updated its series of optical subscriber terminals with a new model NTU-52W. Our company reported on the completion of the development in last October. The device has successfully passed all the necessary tests, including functionality tests, and has been put into mass production.

Interfaces
The NTU-52W is a budget solution with Wi-Fi support for creating a reliable, fast and secure GPON-based network at home or in office. The NTU-52W is the successor to the proven NTU-2W, premised on a new component base.
Connection to the operator's network is made via a PON interface providing a high rate of up to 1244 Mbps for data transmission and of up to 2488 Mbps for data receive.
User devices, such as PCs, printers, access points, are connected to the NTU-52W via two 100 and 1000 Mbps LAN interfaces.

Wi-Fi capabilities
The NTU-52W has basic functions for connecting wireless devices. The NTU-52W supports the Wi-Fi 4 standard and its wireless connection speed is up to 300 Mbps.
The wireless interface is complemented by two antennas with a MIMO 2×2 configuration. So more wireless devices can be connected to the device and the bandwidth can be evenly distributed between them.
If a more productive wireless network is needed, it is easy to arrange it by connecting a Wi-Fi router or an access point to one of the LAN ports.
